Warehouse operations

Stock handled with agreed rules—not guesswork.

We build the operating process around your SKUs, order profile and service requirements. The exact records, checkpoints and reporting frequency are agreed before launch.

  • Receiving: quantity checks, visible-condition notes and discrepancy escalation.
  • Put-away: assigned storage locations based on the agreed handling plan.
  • Inventory handling: SKU, variant, carton, lot or batch references where included in scope.
  • Stock checks: scheduled counts and exception reporting by arrangement.

FIFO stock rotation

First received. First allocated.

When FIFO is included in the agreed workflow, the oldest eligible received stock is picked first. Clear identifiers and accurate client-supplied product data help the process work properly.

01

Receive

Record the agreed stock reference and receiving date.

02

Locate

Place stock in its assigned storage location.

03

Rotate

Prioritise the oldest eligible stock for picking.

04

Verify

Check the order and agreed identifiers before dispatch.

Need lot, batch or expiry-based rules?Tell us during assessment. FEFO, serial-level controls or special reporting are only offered when item suitability, data quality and the operating scope have been confirmed.

End-to-end fulfilment

From inbound goods to final handover.

Choose the stages you need. We document who is responsible at every handoff.

01

Inbound planning

Booking windows, supplier details, expected quantities and access requirements.

02

Receiving

Unload, count and record visible exceptions based on the agreed checklist.

03

Storage

Short- or longer-term space arranged around item size, volume and handling needs.

04

  • Dangerous, illegal, hazardous, perishable or temperature-controlled goods require prior written acceptance and may not be supported.
  • Third-party couriers or specialist partners may be used when included in the agreed solution.
  • Systems integration, custom reporting and special handling are assessed before commitment.
  • Charges and responsibilities are documented before the workflow starts.

Common questions

Business logistics, made clearer.

Can GoMovers support both B2B and B2C orders?

Yes. We can scope B2B orders, individual customer orders or a combined workflow, subject to product suitability, volume, capacity and confirmed operating rules.

Can the warehouse operate FIFO?

FIFO can be included in the operating plan. Accurate receiving dates, product references and client-supplied instructions are required. Lot, batch, expiry or serial controls must be separately assessed and agreed.

Can we start with a small or trial volume?

Where capacity allows, a defined trial or limited workflow can be used to test receiving, storage, fulfilment and reporting before scaling.

Do you support one-off projects as well as recurring work?

Yes. GoMovers can quote for one-off relocations, campaigns and project logistics, or for recurring warehouse, fulfilment and delivery arrangements.

Can you follow our packing and delivery instructions?

We can assess client-defined packing, labelling, kitting and handover requirements. Materials, process steps, quality checks and exceptions must be documented in the agreed scope.
